Two Chinese athletes bagged the gold and silver medals from the women’s hammer throw category in the 2018 Asian Games athletic competition at the Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta on Saturday.    

Na Luo won gold after booking an average throw of 71.42 meters. She succeeded in six throw attempts.    

The silver medal also went to a Chinese athlete, Zheng Wang, who booked an average throw of 70.86 m after six attempts.

Japanese athlete Hitomi Katsuyama won the bronze medal, who booked an average throw of 62.95 m.

Indonesia did not send an athlete to the women’s hammer throw event.
