Japan Wins gold in Men’s Canoe Single

Takuya Haneda from Japan won gold in the men’s canoe single at Rentang dam in Majalengka, West Java, on Wednesday.

Takuya Haneda finished the final in first place with a time of 90.06 seconds with zero penalties.

This is Haneda’s second medal, as he also won gold at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

The silver medal went to Fangjia Chen from China with a time of 90.58 seconds without penalties.

Bronze went to Alexandr Kulikov from Kazakhstan with a time of 98:49 seconds and zero penalties. The medals were given by the President of the Asian Canoe Confederation (ACC) Shoken Narita. (A072).
