China men's team won gold in the artistic gymnastics at the Jakarta International Expo Hall D, Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Wednesday.

Of the six tools contested, China scored 260.95 with floor details scoring 41.05, 42.85 for bracelets, 44.1 jump table, 44.25 horse saddle, 42.9 single bar and 45.8 parallel bar.

Meanwhile, the silver medal was won by Japan with a score of 248.55 and bronze won by Korea with a score of 247.4.

China sent off five gymnasts in the final of the team category, namely Lin Chaopan, Zou Jingyuan, Xiao Ruoteng, Sun Wei and Deng Shudi.

Previously, Lin Chaopan won gold on the first day of the gymnastics event at the JIExpo on Monday, Aug. 20, in the Individual category.

Indonesia women's team also competed in the final artistic gymnastics at the same place at 6 p.m.

Indonesia’s artistic gymnastics team comprises Amalia Fauziah, Nur Cahya, Armartiani and Tazsa Devira.

Indonesia will compete in four categories, namely the vault table, uneven bars, floor exercise and balance beam.

There are also seven other countries that will compete in the women's artistic gymnastics final in the team category including India, Malaysia, Chinese Taipei, Korea, Japan, DPR Korea and China.
