China Win Two Gold from Wushu

– Wushu athletes, Zhaohua Wu and Mengjiao Guo, added two golds to China’s medal
tally through Daoshu-Gunshu and Jianshu-Qiangshu numbers on Tuesday. China, in
total, has secured four gold medals in wushu.
Wu excelled at the men’s Daoshu-Gunshu,
scoring 9.76 points in both Daoshu and Gushu. He won with a total score of
19.52.
The
silver medal went to Seungjee Cho of South Korea with a total score of 19.45,
comprising 9.73 points in Gunshu and 9.72 points in Daoshu.
Indonesian athlete, Ahmad Hulaefi, earned a
bronze medal with a score of 19.41, which consisted of 9.71 Gunshu points and
9.70 Daoshu points.
Meanwhile, in the women’s Jianshu-Qiangshu
event, Guo took the top spot after scoring 9.74 and 9.75 respectively in
Qiangshu and Jianshu. Her total score was 19.49 points.
IR Iran athlete Zahra Kiani won the silver
medal with an overall score of 19.41, comprising 9.71 Qiangshu points and 9.70
Jianshu points.
Vietnam got the bronze medal after Thuy Vi Duong
scored 9.70 and 9.70 in both Qiangshu and Jianshu, bringing the total score to
19.40.
