Korea Wins gold In Women's cycling team

The Korean (KOR) women's cycling team won the gold medal in the womens’s cycling track team pursuit of the 2018 Asian Games, which was held at the Jakarta International Velodrome, Jakarta, on Tuesday.

The South Koreans, Kim Youri, Kim Hyunji, Na Ahreum and Lee Jumi, beat Chna’s Chenhong Jin, Xiaofei Wang, Hong Wang and Jali Liu in the final race for first place.

Meanwhile Japan’s Nao Suzuki, Yumi Kajihara, Miho Yoshikawa and Yuya Hashimoto were too strong for the Hong Kong women's team in the race for the bronze medal.

Indonesia as the host did not participate in the women’s pursuit team event, a race that covers a distance of 4,000 meters.
