Republic of Korea has won the gold medal in the womens’s team pursuit event
held at the Jakarta International Velodrome on Tuesday.
The
Korean team, Kim Youri, Kim Hyunji, Na Ahreum and Lee Jumi, won the race by
overlapping the Chinese team of Chenhong Jin, Xiaofei Wang, Hong Wang and Jali
Liu in the race for first place.
Meanwhile,
the Japanese women's team, Nao Suzuki, Yumi Kajihara, Miho Yoshikawa and Yuya
Hashimoto, were too strong for the Hong Kong, China team in the bronze medal
race.
Indonesia
did not participate in the women’s pursuit team event, which covered a distance
of 4,000 meters.
